Lord Krishna is known for many mischievous acts during his childhood and the statue depicts one of Krishna's favourite act of stealing butter from the villagres and Gopis of Vrindavan. Hence he is called a butter thief (makhan chor).
The statue depicts baby Krishna on a swing with one of his hands inside the butter pot supported by pillar.
